I received an email today from Saks.com with the subject line: ‘what’s your skirt style’. Which got me thinking about all the skirts in wardrobe and how they are mostly black.  They are different styles and lengths but I have six, that’s right six, black skirts.

One might ask why on earth do I need six black skirts? Well, because each one serves a different fashion purpose. Some are for work some are for play and some are for both work and play. Pencil skirts, short skirts, long skirts and pleated skirts I have them all and I wear them all. if you find that this fashion staple is missing from your wardrobe then I suggest fix that ‘tout suite’.

In my opinion the little black skirt LBS is right up there with the little black dress. It is a fashion staple and you really can not have too many because they can be paired with a cosy cashmere sweater, crisp white shirt, or even a t-shirt. Your name it the LBS has it covered.

Move over LBD because you have competition by way of the LBS .a.k.a. Little Black Skirt
